Default Source of test equipment manuals to download.

Hi all, looking for a manual/service info for above which is a Valve AC millivoltmeter. Thanks
Tim

Tim,

You can find the manual for the Advance VM77B here:

http://www.portabletubes.co.uk/sitef...Nadvvm77b.djvu

You'll need to download the DejaVu software and plugins to view it. DejaVu is similar to Acrobat.

I've got a VM77C. It has a different case and physical layout from the VM77B, but the circuitry seems to be identical. I suspect that the VM77D is very similar to the others in all important respects.

With mine, virtually all of the resistors in the amps were in spec when cold, but drifted like crazy as they got warm. When they were replaced with metal film types, the instrument was much more stable. The electrolytics in the amps were also duff and behaving erratically. The meter was shot and had to be replaced.

Pete.
