Australian electronics mags
Possibly of most interest for Australian (or ex Australian) members:-
Electronics Australia magazine 1976 - 2000 Edit: the files for 1991 to 2000 are basically crap - B/W, a lot of unreadable content and pictures just a black blob. http://www.americanradiohistory.com/...stralia_AU.htm ETI Australian version 1977 - 1986 (so far) http://www.americanradiohistory.com/ETI_Magazine-AU.htm Last edited by Terry_VK5TM; 19th Jan 2018 at 3:45 am. Re: Australian electronics mags
As I used to work for ETI in the UK (Project Engineer) I uploaded several UK issues of ETI to this site, including the very first issue.
However, the first issues were just the Australian publications with UK adverts but, because some of the components specified for the projects weren't available in the UK (but only available in Australia -- due to the Pacific Rim availability) we created our own UK projects in line with UK availability. One thing I did miss out on was the offer to go and work for ETI in Australia but, the wife didn't want to leave the UK. Ho-Hum, such is life. Great website though !!

Re: Australian electronics mags
Terry, thank you for this observation that Americanradiohistory.com has further expanded its collection, and this time to the southern hemisphere. I am delighted about this. Hopefully, in time, there will be a good and complete set of scanned issues.
Electronics Australia has over the years had some very good historical articles in it. I like the article by William Butement. who was at one time G6TM, titled "Army Radio Communications sine 1914", in the November 1969 issue. |
