Default Aurora and VCR

Hi, I just wondered whether there was a way to switch off the automatic test card function on the aurora? I find that when I play very old tapes with quite a bit of wear it will often switch to the test card occasionally due to the weak video signal.
Cheers

I don't think there is. They flash up the testcard when the timing jitters are too large to be corrected, so it will need to be put through a timebase corrector before entering the Aurora.
