Mystery Scrap Chassis
Not mine, and IMHO only fit for measuring to make a new one and then scrap, but someone asked on the Aviation Forum what he had just purchased(!), obviously hoping it was an aircraft-related relic of historical interest.
About 2 feet square. I suspect it may be from an old TV....... It would be nice to identify its origin though - any ideas? Many thanks, Andy |

Re: Mystery Scrap Chassis
Yes TV chassis, Murphy, half wave live chassis job the big circular cut out on the rear apron is for the circular mains voltage selector.
Similar to this one, note the chassis brackets under the bottom corners of the CRT: http://www.shopingathome.com/Private...V%20Inside.jpg More pics in this thread: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=65554 Lawrence.
