Many thanks to Steve (stevehertz) for the Ferguson speakers that safely arrived last night, they were very well packaged.

I could not resist checking the number of drivers so opened one up and of course Steve was correct, 1 driver per speaker, a nice solid looking driver.

Look forward to testing them.

Reference above agree with Paul (locknut) that cheeky (I would say misleading as well) of Ferguson stating on the box for speakers that they are 2 drive unit.

Hearty thanks to Richard (6SN7WGTB) for very generously giving me the SMT electrolytics he had left over from renovating and bringing his Sony ICF7600 back to life.

With his generosity mine will be singing away again very soon.

Steve.
