Seconded ! After nearly 5 months of not going far or doing much due to a fractured knee it was a great feeling to be out and (fairly) active!
I big thanks to all the people who give up their time and make these events happen!
I manged to fill a couple of holes in my collection particularly as far as Transistor sets are concerned.

Rich.

I am very pleased to report that today's Harpenden Bring & Buy raised £700, which was a record and will be a welcome boost to Museum funds.

The Bring & Buy was well stocked, with lots of donations including a large number of surplus items cleared out from the Dulwich Vintage Wireless & TV Museum stores (thanks Richard for bringing it all) , and a very respectable number of items being sold on commission.

Our thanks once again to all those who work so hard to keep this event running. Numbers looked a bit down, but it's amazing how even coronavirus can't discourage dedicated vintage radio bargain hunters!

Thanks to all for your support.

-Jeremy

A great day, many thanks to all the helpers. I came home with a few things, including a CR100, I couldn't resist at £12, which was an impulse buy, and a tray of intervalve transformers I had hoped to win at £22, also a bargain.

Well I came home with the dreaded Phillips Mono knob set and Pam got herself a really nice Roberts 606 MB for the bedroom in a very nice green colour.

Yes and it works for the mega price of £10 !

Hi all,
I had a great time. I was not able to stick around for the auction unfortunately.
I purchased a Radar 202 CRT tester/rejuvenator amongst other things, which is much nicer than the earlier Radar version that I was using.

Anyway, by far the best think was catching up with friends in the BVWS.

Cheers
Andy

I came home with a Gould 'scope from the bring and buy stall, a project for the future perhaps. Was good to see familiar faces and have a chat with folk.

I had an exceptionally good day (which I shall detail in a separate thread), despite my intention only to get rid of stuff the Bring & Buy, I came home with more, but having confirmed my suspicions, very pleased.
Many thanks to all those who put so much work in to these events!

Enjoyable event as usual, I was unable to hang around for the auction due to work. but I still came away with a very nice set, many thanks to the gentlemen that sold me his Cossor melody maker. I can't imagine a better sounding one! Excellent restoration and now a much appreciated addition to my collection.
