Default Leak 3200 AM/FM receiver

I've been looking around for a tuner for a couple of weeks and just missed the Leak 2000 posted by a member in the selling section. However, I have just come across a Leak 3200. I can't find much opinion about them online. Anyone know much about them? Are they any good sonically or just basic budget stuff?

That's from pretty much the end of the Leak brand, when J-Arthur's little helpers were purely into badge engineering. Given their business linkages, I presume it's a Rotel, really.

If so, well, Rotel were quite competent, not pretentious, and good value.

I think it is essentially the same as a Rotel RX-402, which I have. A very nice mid-range receiver.

Not trying to point out the obvious, but do you mean tuner or receiver? as the ones you name are the latter, and Leak did make tuners as well as receivers.

My apologies, I do mean receiver (tuner + amp combo). So its a Rotel RX-402 inside. It looks different although all of the external controls (button and knob styles notwithstanding) and connectors on the back are the same so that makes sense.

I did a search for Rotal and found a few about the same price. I also found an RX500 with a shortwave band on it. In the meantime, the Yamaha 1020 that I was watching and considering has ended. Well there iis no rush and I will watch and see what else comes up.
