Default Can you tell me what this is please??

Can you tell me what this is please?

Hi Guy's well done on naming the Ekco AC68 but can you tell me what this is?

The front panel is marked "Lissen" as are the coils, the transformer is marked GECoPHONE. I'm guessing 1920's?

It looks a bit like a marriage or a kit of parts with no soldered joints.

Sorry but the first prize money for supplying the correct answer has already been spent so all you get is the pleasure of being seen to be right.

Kind Regards ...Andy gwojxm

Hi Ed, well here we go again, I'm really impressed with help from all the Gentlemen on this site.
I'm actually going to dispose of this radio for a Ham Radio friend of mine that's not doing too well health wise, if were possible to obtain a copy of the instructions that would be a real bonus. I would of course return the original and cover any costs involved.
Kind Regards...Andy gw0jxm

Hi Andy, I like your Lissen set. I have a similar set see pic with the same leaping stag motif across the speaker grill , it is badged as a LN8093. I hadn't seen another set with this motif until I saw yours. Mine is in a dome style case so I bet they must have used many different designs for cases.
