Default Elbex CCTV camera.

Hi,
I have just powered up an old Elbex CCTV camera model EX908MDC.
First I found a broken wire on the dc power socket...
Now I seem to get sync pulses but when i shine a light near the front the video signal doesn't change ....
but if I put a finger near the front of where the lens should be I do get a change in the video level.
I guess it is something obvious ? Yes it does use a 7 pin camera tube.
Also the lens is missing and it seems it isn't a c mount one.
anyone have any pointers for what a beginner to CCTV cameras should be looking for ?
regards Peter B

The tube should have a little bit of voltage like 5 to 12 volts on the ring on the sensitive end of the tube. It should be adjustable with a pot marked target or something like that.
You have already tested the amplifier and it is working.
