Default Yaesu VX 7R repair

Hello all,

So, I have received one of the above transceivers for repair, with the complaint of low sensitivity on receive. It appears this is a common problem with a couple of filters needing replacement.

Does anyone have experience of repairing these who would like to take the job on for me? I am not yet a licenced amature and therefore consider this would be better repaired by someone who is experienced in them.

Thanks,

Adrian.

Hi. I have fitted filters to lots of the VX series. Known problem in fact, fitting same filters to a Yaesu FT857 (crackles on FM). If all else fails PM me.

Mick (Kent Rigs).
