Default RS Addashaft 3" long with standard 0.220" flat wanted

I wonder if anyone can spare a RS Addashaft with a 0.220" standard flat and 3" effective length. I have an unused but slightly rusty 500k switched Addashaft pot, but the two metal shafts that I have here have the less useful 0.190" flat.

Thanks

Ron

Here is a picture of an Addashaft spindle, in case it jogs anyone's memory. I think that in the 1960s, the shafts were available in a number of flat styles, to cater for push-on knobs used by different manufacturers. The idea was that dealers had to only stock pot bodies either switched and unswitched in popular values and the appropriate shaft was selected, cut to size and pushed into the pot bushing.

I seem to remember that Pye radios needed extra deep flat shafts, others needed insulated spindles e.t.c. so quite a range, packed in lots of six items, must have been made available for the idea to have taken off.

Could you solder a piece of brass to the existing flat and file it down to size?

Thanks for the suggestion, Graham, that would work. I could probably even get away with Aralditing a shim or old feeler gauge to the flat to avoid soldering.

One further possibility is to use a shaft coupler (the type with grub-screws) to adapt between the 0.195" flat and the old pot spindle with a 0.220" flat.

I'm still hoping that someone may find one that they can spare.
