5 AVO meters for sale for Biggleswade or Belper - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Good evening,
I am having a tidy up in the workshop and have decided that part of my collection of AVOmeters can go. They haven't been used in a long while, but I believe there are no major issues, All of the meter movements are free, though could do with restoration and calibration to be accurate. There are 5 in total.

2 X model 9 MK.2 AVO meters. Dial glass was replaced in one of them. One has a missing leather handle. the other only half a handle !

1 model 8 MK.3 AVO. Cut out won't reset but was ok last time it was used. probably sticky mechanism.

1 model 40 AVO seems ok.

1 test set multirange No.1 high sensitivity. This has a metal outer case and is much heavier than the standard AVO.

I was looking at £5 each or £20 for all 5.

I can take these to Bigglesade on Sunday or they can be collected from Belper in Derbyshire.

Good afternoon,
It looks like 1 of the model 8 or 9 had been provisionally claimed.
I might take them in a crate for the Biggleswade B&B for people to have a look at individually.
