Tascam 58 not recording.

Does anyone have a service manual for the Tascam 58 tape recorder? The fault with my one is that it won't record on any channel.

The VU's show that signals are going in, but on replay or sync, nothing.

I downloaded a manual from hifi manuals.com but the last few pages were blank.

I did a scope check and the erase oscillator is working, I could see it on the erase head itself, so its not a master oscillator problem, but whatever it is it affects all 8 channels.
