picked his up in local auction I believe there should be a 6 D cell holder has anyone a picture off an original ? what colour were they ? so I can get one as close as pos to original look cheers

Theres a picture of the battery carrier on member Robert Darwent GOUHF website . I have this model but the original battery carrier is in poor condition as its made from very flimsy clear plastic /perspex material . quite a rare model .
