That is a good image and shows the difference in the flyback lines from post #57 where they are properly suppressed by the video signal alone and post #60 where they are not due to the vertical scan and video signal timing being de-synchronized.

As I mentioned though, it is not difficult to set the controls on a TV-22 correctly so the flyback lines are invisible on a test pattern. But unless the RF modulator has the correct video level sync tip or black level clamping, they will always reappear again on scenes with different contrast. The video signal clamping can be easily done in the RF modulator's input circuitry with a diode and potentiometer which is also a requirement to set the minimal residual carrier level on sync tips.
