Default Grundig TK5 Recording Help

Hi

I have recently purchased a Grundig TK5 which is on its way. Just wanted some information on how to record onto the tape? I intend to use it for resampling etc.

I understand the output is a 5pin DIN connection. Will the input be the same?

Thanks

Seb

Default Re: Grundig TK5 Recording Help

Has this recorder been fully restored? If not, it will need a lot of work to be usable.

I'm pretty sure the input/output is on a 3 pin DIN socket (this is obviously a mono recorder). This is an early domestic recorder and isn't really suitable for studio use.

Hifi Engine have a German user manual - you will need to register, but it's free: https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_li...dig/tk-5.shtml
