As another life long HP employee I think these are the correct knobs.

The knobs used depend on the age of the unit, the 350D was available for at least 20 years and it seems to disappear after the 1982 catalog, HP archive has the 1962 manual;
http://hparchive.com/Manuals/HP-350C-350D-Manual.pdf

The manual change sheets at the back of the 1980 manual states from serial no. 022A-14370 (last number not clear, could be 8?) that the knobs changed from part no. 0370-0112 to 0370-2473, the binding posts changed at the same time to the grey/red ones.

Maybe HP sites didn't replace everything each year.

Who would have made the 721A for HP? I've seen Harris on HP PSUs but I don't know "LLL"
LLL is Livingston Laboratories Ltd, an importer/seller of test equipment including HP & Tek, my HP 721A is a German built unit.

peter scott and factory are both correct I suspect. I did receive an origional hard copy manual for the 403B which I am working on now, and it has the "traditional" style knobs which would be nice but as I stated I would rather have them working than cosmetically origional. Then again I also received a manual for a 204C/D oscillator and it has totally different knobs.

I will keep looking however and thanks to all for your help and web sites.

Joe

HARRISON was a power supply manufacturer taken over by HP and became their Noo Joisy division. We had a variety of PSU models in the plant, the older ones carrying Harrison branding, the later ones with Hewlett-Packard written on the same thing.

Another firm they took over was Moseley who made XY and chart plotters... turned eventually into the printer division.

Thanks, but did you see the "LLL" badge in the image link? Can't help thinking I may have seen it somewhere else, but only a vague memory

That's it, David! Must be a very long time since I've seen one like that.
