Oldish metal Electra kettle with Backer element
Found in ongoing workshop clearout, a once shiny metal Electra kettle with wooden handles, a Backer element and lead.
It probably belonged to my grandparents. They tended to keep things forever if they weren't broken. Although it's not been stored very sympathetically it's not in particularly bad condition. I think I also have another one somewhere, I probably chucked it into the scrap pile but I can dig it out again. Are these of any use to anyone? I don't really want to throw them away. That's made by Hoover, Electra would often purchase equipment from various British manufacturers and have it badged up, great kettle

It is an impressively solid and well simply designed kettle in quite reasonable condition, I might even keep it if no one else wants to give it a home.
