Sony icf810s digimatic clock radio sound issue
This radio is becoming a slight challenge
Firstly the clock works on ac 220v and when you switch on the radio sound comes out for milliseconds! So far I have 12v ac going on to the PCB from the transformer and the speaker hums. I have had a test in the garden and you can pick up a station but very faint with the volume on full. On the battery I did connect but the same issue humming out of the speaker.so I have measured the diodes and capacitors and a few transistor s.nothing untoward there.I applied 9v DC from an adaptor still no sound!so I am looking for a schematic if possible! I don't think its the Ic as sound did play .Am I looking past the fault ?also swopped the speaker no difference there. Finally the bulb lights the display .on the tuning dial |
