Default Gram motor speed indicator disk scans

This cardboard is disk approx 12cm diameter, published by Bernards and cost 10p back in the 70s.

It relies on the slight flicker of filament lamps to give the strobe effect, 50Hz one side and 60Hz the other side.

Scans attached, 600DPI.

Works very well under one of those confounded CFL desk lamps - thanks Paul.

Be careful with CFLs or LEDs though - they may not strobe at 50Hz, depending on the power supply arrangements. A traditional fluorescent should be OK though.

The VinylEngine website is a good place to find these and apps are available for smartphones to use with them.
