Information on this part is eluding me.

Its most likely from the 1960's or 70's

It's a square epoxy block of a similar design to bridge rectifiers only it has 5 connections instead of 4

It reads like a silicon 3 phase bridge rectifier.

Its a curiosity really I have no immediate use for it. Its come out of a box last opened in the early 1980 when I moved from Torquay, I probably had data on it at that time

I think the extra pin is trigger (gate) and the four diodes are in fact thyristors.

This is how it looks on the component analyser and Multimeter.

They read as Silicon diodes all with very similar forward voltage drop and capacitance.

It is rated at 12A 200/275V (@60Hz) and described as a rectifier.
