Default EMI portable tape recorders L2 & L4

Further to my post with the handbook PDF for the EMI L4, I have now scanned a copy of the handbook for the EMI L2 machine. This is the earlier Valve version. To big to post here so the PDF files are here.

Index page at:-

or direct at:-

I have a very nice L4 recorder, just need to find a valve version of the EMI L2 recorder. Did many of the valve versions survive? or were most converted to transistors?

Enjoy.
