SKANDIA RS-82 full size 8 track amp and stereo
Hi
My latest retro 8 track to fix. Well actually after taking it apart and cleaning first I found that the belt was actually OK (first time ever) as its a like a car fan belt and made well. Needs several new bulbs (see my question in general) and missing a knob which I might try making a mould and casting one as doubt I'll ever find a proper replacement. The player actually works fine it seems but does need a little TLC to get it back to ship shape. |

Any idea about the brand behind this machine? The front panel looks very simplistic, like most of the legends were done using Letraset.

Replaced a load of bulbs on it and it seems to be working. VDU is a bit crazy and often has a mind of its own!!!
One control knob was missing so I have made a mould and have now cast my own replacement. Will spray part silver to make it look like part is aluminium. Happy with the way its come out. Just need to work out a good way of hollowing out for the control. |
