Default KB 433 radio

Hi all,
I have a KB433 radio that I will be taking to the Audiojumble. It is, AFAIK, untouched, full of dust etc.cabinet a bit tatty but a repolish would improve it
I am disposing of this for a very elderly neighbour so any idea of value please.

A mid-30's very basic 2 valve + rec TRF in a fairly good looking deco cabinet far too large for the radio! Very difficult to estimate the value as they seem to be quite rare.

Crackle might be able help but in my opinion.

It's quite small which is an advantage.

Its quirky in a good way.

If it's in good condition I would say £40 to £50

But that's just my opinion anything is worth what you can get for it !

Hi John
Condition is everything, my one is not so hot on cabinet condition, but I was told it had been restored internally and was working when I bought it at the NVCF.

It would be useful to know if the speaker energising coil and the output transformer primary was OK, likewise the mains transformer windings.

I dont think they are very common, superhet radios were taking over at this time. If the cabinet and the transformers are OK then I would suggest £30 to £50 at a guess.

If the cabinet and speaker cloth are more presentable than my one I wouldn't mind making an offer for it.
