Default Hacker Sov 111 dial scale

Hallo everyone,

I've got a Sov 111 which has faint rub marks around the volume knob showing the alloy underneath. It's the black (painted strip ?) which the knob sits on

I'd like to cover the small rubbing mark with something black to blend it in with the original finish.

Has anyone done this and what did you use and how would it be applied ?

David.
