Perpetuum Ebner 2020L turntable.
I am servicing this turntable but have come across a problem which I dont know how to solve.
It appears that the horizontal bearings are somewhat stiff and the arm is unable to track the records correctly. It may be that the grease used in the bearings has dried out. I'm loathe to dismantle the arm for obvious reasons when you see the service manual and extract. Has anyone come across this before and how do I solve it. |

Re: Perpetuum Ebner 2020L turntable.
Injecting some light oil as close as possible to the bearing with a syringe, then work it back and forth a few dozen times might do it. Otherwise, it's disassembly!
