You are absolutely wrong. MR16 = multifaceted reflector 16/8" diameter. Nothing to do with voltage or base. That picture is labelled wrongly, it should say GU5.3
Ignorant manufacturers, or their marketing people, propagate these myths. No need for you to do so. |

Popular usage again. We may know the strictly correct names for these (and the other things, which I won't resurrect yet again, it's boring), but that won't change the popular usage. Suffice to say, we know what we're referring to.
