Default Fidelity HF45 knob.

just aquired a fidelity hf45 record player and am looking for 1 control knob or at least the silver insert,anyone got 1 in there spares boxes ,many thanks

You can use the silver foil off a tea or coffee bag, smoothed out and stuck on to the knob itself. To get a perfect colour match, use on both knobs.

Indeed. I've often done the same thing. Where the knob bright is flat it's easy to file up a disc of thin aluminium or brass and stick it to the knob with contact adhesive. Coned knob brights are a bit more difficult, requiring the use of press dies turned in a lathe.

ok ,so all sorted now,have used a thin piece of ali from a large coffee container,made 2 so they both match,thanks for the advise all ,looks like new now
