Hi
Does anyone know a reliable uk supplier of this glue ?
It seems on the bay prices go from £2 to £20 ?
Rs charge £30 !
It seems there might be a lot of fakes out there ?

I wouldn't rely on RS prices to be at the going rate!
I had some specialist glue recently as an 'equivalent' of a loctite product, and it came from a company called 'Mr Sticky' at a more palatable price. It might be worth having a look to see if they have an equivalent product.

I'm sure it's very good, but isn't it just another brand of cyanoacrylate superglue, in this case sold into professional markets?

BTW Rapid do 406 at £20 per 20g either seperately or as part of a kit for making rubber o-rings.

I know some retailers really load on the price but I can't believe a difference of £15 ?
I'm concerned the cheap ones are fakes !
I've already got some genuine Loctite 770 primer so wanted some genuine 406 to go with it

Always be sure to check adhesives (glues

) for their product expiry dates. Some of them do not age well and cheap products could be expired stuff that is being dumped on the DIY market. I speak from experience.
