Default EMOR globe mains transformer trouble

Just checking mains tx on my Emor is dead I have a dead chassis from a GEC BC4070 am I right in thinking this chassis transformer would do the job ?

Looks OK to me. 5V 2A rectifier and more valves than the Emor. What's up with the original?

It had at some point made a lovely waxy puddle in the case and the primary had snuffed it

There's always the "Dinning" option if you want to avoid any possible chassis bashing to make a "stranger" fit.

Everyone one I've ever seen is slightly different I wouldn't think it'll matter too much and I want it sorted quickly

Ok I have a Cossor transformer from a 497ac/e this has 5v 6.3v and centre tapped HT however this is 370v a side is this likely to be a bit much in the HT department ? Thus transformer fits the existing mountings so would be ideal from that point of view.
