Roberts cabinet renovation.
I have a Roberts R200 in Navy Blue in need of a facelift.
Many moons ago it lost its strap and associated mounting fittings. They need replacing and a 3.5mm jack socket was added to the rear door. Fortunately it contains no AF117s. One of the cream knobs fractured and has been replaced with a dark grey example. All three knobs do have the brass centres. The 'Roberts' badge lost its plating So who has the best reputation to renovate this veteran? The radio was bought as a wedding present for my parents around 1962. Re: Roberts Renovation
Richard Booth would be willing to restore it. I've just had mine (Green and in mint condition) restored by him for the price of £20 which is not that bad. Josh.
