Default Bulgin P73 plug

I have bought a C&S record player having wanted one for many years. Unfortunately it is advertised as not having its mains lead (where do they all go?). I really don't want to shoe horn a badly fitting replacement plug onto the player and replacement sockets are expensive. I came across this thread https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=80092 but it doesn't seem to have come to a satisfactory conclusion.

Does anyone know of a suitable replacement for the original plug?

Thanks
