Default Electric fire - yacht

I have just spotted a thread from last May in which questions were being asked about an electric fire in the form of a yacht.

I have one of these as a result of clearing out my mother in law's home, and would like to sell it. Can anyone advise what sort of value level these things might have, please?

Thanks

Martin

There's one on eBay now. I suggest keeping an eye on it to see what it sells for. You could then offer your example for sail, sorry - sale, via the forums if you wished where the right sort of collectors lurk and who can update the electrics if need be.

Thanks, guys - that's helpful. I'll get back to you all in a few days.

Hi,
I paid £60 for mine around 1997 from an antiques/collectors fair. It was and is missing its element. However I think I got a bargain and you should easily get £120 plus. As with anything it depends on how desperate your prospective buyers are and on their availble funds.
Cheers,
Des.
