Hi Stu.

I met you at Mikey's swap meet. I met the others and walked back from the Drum and Monkey.

Any chance of a photo of the Dynatron in the Queen Anne cabinet please? I have a Dynatron CTV 28 with the 731 chassis and am fairly sure the LOPT and tripler are dud. I would like to see if the cabinet style is like mine. Do you have any 731 parts like I mention? I did put a request for a LOPT.

The main question would be how to get it from Cornwall to Margate.

Regards, David.

Hello Stuart.

Have you checked what those tubes emissions are like? It looks very good and with the remote as well.

If you can give me a rough idea where I could collect it from? In a ideal situation I need to be able to get a train from Hertfordshire which would arrive into London Victoria. I would then get my connection home. If you can say approx what date you are coming, I can let you know if the dates work for me.

I could also do with a mains dropper, resistor and also a LOPT.

I also wonder if a LOPT from any other sets be adopted to work triplers I know can be as there used to be universal types.

The only other sets I am looking for are a 37373 Ferguson TX10 26 inch stereo text set and lastly sony C9's.

Regards, David Grant.

Hi Stuart I do not know him but if its only £10 courier then thats a no brainer .i am slightly concerned about getting the funds together,I look after my partner who had a brain anuerisym and has just had a replacement hip op.I was able to come to mikeys because of having been able to make plans many weeks before.I would like to ask is this clearance happening just this once or will you be doing another later in the year.I have a pay pal account and can send money like sending a gift .I am also having to travel from Kent to Oxford which is where I originally come from a old mate who had a large box of oo gauge model trains which belonged to my brother are being stored for me but my mate has now seperated and has told me there are 3 very large boxes of items awaiting collection.I am in London sometime next week to collect a Avo test bridge and also another matter. The dynatron looks the same style cabinet as mine, the model prefix will be on the rear cover.I would expect as its working to replace the capacitor which can fail and damage the Lopt ,Tripler and focus unit because the cost far outways the damage it can cause.I also have been promised a tube,A66/140.and the Lopt panel its in Wales, but I have seen a video of it working the cabinet is falling apart but the sides are useable .I bought a decca bradford from him about 4 years back and he has told me the items are free, but just need to collect them who do you use for courier/ postage regards David Grant .

Hi Dave the dynatron will have to go on a pallet at £62 plus VAT - not sure where you got the £10 from, that is OK for portables and radios. Its a monster set so I can't really see you getting it on the train either ! its a 2 man lift !

I can check the tube when I get a mo, it needed setting up when last on and seemed to be getting better with use 2 years ago.

Hi Stuart. I'd be interested in rehoming the blue/cream Vidor set if it's still available. If you could please send me a PM with the best way to pay you, that would be great.

Thanks,
Peter
