Does anyone know what these are called, or whether there are any replacements around? I have a couple of broken ones. They expand around the cone-shaped ends of the spikes on the rear of A77's front plate, then clip back to retain the front plate on the chassis.

The very things, David! The collar stops the four clips from springing out too far, and the cone can still clip under the lip, rather like a 1/4" plug.

Thank you Michael - yes, that's it. I'd hoped they existed as a generic part as a tenner a clip from the USA is a little frustrating!
