Default HP 140A CRT & EHT supply PCB FOC.

FOC. HP140A CRT, EHT board and other bits. Would make a good basis for a homebrew scope or clock project. Postage estimated at £6, drop me a PM if interested & for postage details, Andy.

PS, I have the mains tfmr too, postage would be a bit more for that & would need sending separately.

It's an electrostatic deflection tube, so all the warnings about shipping damage to scopes apply, in fact more so without all the support the chassis gives.

They can be ruined without even breaking the glass. The accelerations from a bit of a bump bends the deflection plate mounting wires and you don't know about it until you get distorted pictures

Aye, the CRT should be picked up ideally David. Unfortunately they are worthless unless someone needs one to get existing test gear working. In light of that shipping is the only option. I have shipped CRT's in the past without issue, a Tek CRT went to Lithuania. all I can do is pack them the best I can.

These have now found a new home, thread can be closed thanks, Andy.

I know, I have a few of the rectangular CRTs for the 140 analyser frames. I'd mused about making a scope but never got around to it, then a few TEK465s and HP 1740s came along...
