Hi,
As the tittle, what is tropical band? I may have heard it stated somewhere that it's to do with certain types of music, but I'm totaly uncertain about that. Picture attached (hopefully) Thanks. Paul |

Crikey, forgotten about that post from 2017…
As a lad I remember getting a Philips Bakelite radio intended for the international market with Perspex strips for each short wave band with Sun and Moon logos on the front (actually, in front of the speaker) to indicate which band is active at the time of day. Can’t remember the model number though…, alright, I do have one, but it’s up on shelf and it’s a fair ole operation to get it down to find out the model number... Terry |
