Wolf 1/2" Chisel Mortiser
Good Afternoon
I have come across the above drill pillar, and what has puzzled me is a piece of S shaped metal on the top, that clips to the bolt on the top (in the 'Metal Piece' photos). I have had it suggested that it is to grip the mains cable to keep it out of the way, although not too sure. The photos shown are: the label, the whole pillar and two photos of the metal piece. My Hoover Junior had one of those to stop the cable unravelling, and many modern vacuum cleaners have a similar plastic thing.
