Default Grundig C6000 Radio/Cassette

Hi all
Any tips and/or ideas for a noisy sqeeling cassette motor. Its sealed and sounds like it needs oiling or the bearings are shot? Is it or would it be possible to drop it in a jar of something like clock oil or would that just make it worse? Or dropping it into a ultrasonic bath? Maybe someone can tell me how to get into the casing perhaps? I have bought another Grundig spairs or repair in the hope its motor is ok?. It uses same motor. Be nice though not to have to rob it if theres any hope for the existing motor.
Many thanks.

Hi, Do not advise dropping cassette motor in clock oil or similar. That would most likely ruin commutator and brushes. Try a very small drop of sewing machine oil at each end of bearing shaft. Do not over oil! If it's a motor bearing problem the squeaking should stop.
