Default AVO Tube tester Early MK2 - Help needed

Hi all ,
Have my third valve tester I just bought - Avo Mk2 . My others are Zenith multi tester / tube tester and Hickock 177 , both of WW2 era or before, so don't test modern valves , hence why this purchase , as the AVO tests pretty much everything .
However , it's been messed about with . The top of the heater transformer seems wired up differently than the suggestion diagrams on the manual , the anode link on the rear is missing , but i don't know the importance of this as the anode voltages up to 430 approx are present on the back of the anode volts switch . Also the safety cut out relay hass been messed about with . Would anyone kindly have photos of the inside of their avo tube tester i could use as a referance point , so I could make sure all the wiring in in the right place and then at least i can rule out that (or not) as being the problem. Much appreciated

Mike, suggest you scroll down the page a few threads - see thread by "vintage_8bit" - Colin - about his MK1/2. When it comes to Repair & Restoration - two heads are better than one. Plus there is a multitude of past AVO VCM threads containing all you need to know - see "SEARCH".
Regards, David

Hi. If you want any pictures of my MK1, let me know. If you have looked at my thread as David suggested, you will see it's on the bench now, so it's easy to take pictures. Mine is the 3 transformer one, so wiring looms will be different. But if the cutout is the same, then images of that may help you. Another difference may be, that I only appear to have two rectifiers, not 4 as in the circuits that I have seen. (Unless they are hidden somewhere) Colin

Here are 2 images of the cut out, in the tripped condition.
