Default Hacker GP15 hum

Trying to get this Hacker GP15 back running, I discovered that the hum ceases completely when I touch the two left pins on the tonearm connectors with copper wire. So why is that? Earthing?

Thanks, Pete

Default Re: Hacker GP15 distortion

It may be, check out the earth connection on the tag card underneath the motor plate. Squirt the connectors visible in the end of tone arm with Servisol as well.
