Missing plea for assistance? - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hi,

unless i've gone doolally, i'm sure yesturday i saw a thread started off by someone trying to locate a specific piece of vintage equipment, it seemed to be quite a desperate plea for help, and the last part of it that i remember reading was, that the person thought that there might be a very remote chance, that it may have turned up in some part canada (i think) and the last time it was seen, was in grimsby (again i think but i might have also got that wrong)

So my question is what's happened? am i looking in the wrong place, or can we not now disscuss it due to forum rules e.c.t (i understand if that is the case)
I do hope though that all is well, and i wish the very best for the person concerned.
