Question Sony TC-V701 Compatible with LBT-D505 series?

I am seeking a cassette deck to replace a faulty TC-D505 which was used with the above (LBT-D505) and TA-505 amplifier/control unit, and have found a TC-V701 for sale on eBay. Like the TC-D505 and TC-D707 cassette decks, the V701 connects to the rest of it's system via ribbon cables. Does anyone know whether the V701 can be connected to the TA-505, and used with it?
