Looking at the photos, the valve pins appear to have some corrosion, so it's not spent it's life in a development lab.

I wonder if it has been made to experiment with some kind of virtual earth mixer with the anodes strapped together and the grids as inputs.
Perhaps an experiment could be devised using a TV pull double triode to verify if this is possible.
