Bit more info on this sturdy beast. On removal of the h/duty galv.steel cover, found a label :- Standard Electric A/S Copenhagen. Type 710-0185. PCB & component-wise, it seems to be of 1970's vintage. All external, & internal a/s fuses are intact. No horrid smell from the mains t/f & choke, and all electrolytics seem intact. Have continuity tested the 39 way plug & skt lead from the remote CU - OK. Shall fire it up and carry out further tests soon. However, would still like to get hold of handbook/manual.
Regards, David
