Default Golbourne blocked by Norton

Whilst browsing this morning, Golbourne was being blocked with a warning of an "SWBPL" threat or annoyance. Apparently this may be something like their site safety certificate being out of date. I have no contact details and of course cannot get to the site to leave a message, in case they are unaware. Can anyone get a message to them ?

There is a thread on Golbourne about a slow response problem that has been going on for several days.
Some security software might block it while the problem is ongoing.

PM received from forum member mhennessy:-

You might need to update Norton - it's out of date.

A week or two back, another account on the same shared host as Golborne was giving out malicious URLs that took people to a phishing site. It was a complex link that looked like http://golbornevintageradio.co.uk/~L...shing_content/

The malicious content was nothing to do with Golborne, and was not contained within the folder structure available to the administrators. The bad people were taking advantage of a facility that Apache offers, but that particular feature needs to be disabled on a shared host. It was a bit surprising that it wasn't already disabled, but the problem was fixed very quickly indeed - within minutes...

However, in that very short window of existence, it was picked up and added to various databases of malicious URLs, meaning that Firefox (and no-doubt many other application) issued warnings about it. Firefox stopped these warnings just a few minutes after the host fixed the problem, which impressed me. However, it seems that Norton might be behind the times.

The joys of shared hosting We're extremely lucky that Paul shells out for a dedicated hosting solution for UKVRRR - it saves a lot of hassle, but is *very* expensive.
