Default One for the Philips specialists...

Just spotted this one in a small Swiss 'pub', seems to be an early Philips S/S tuner A6X3BAT (?). It apparently still works according to the bar owner.

Apologies for the slightly 'blurry' image... I blame the 3 pints of excellent draught Guiness Amber

That's nice, Tuner-amplifier I'd say! I bet it has germanium output devices

The Amber sounds appealing but I'd have wanted to try the Neuchâtel

I see from radiomuseum it is a tuner separate, model No. A6X38AT. I suspect it must have had a matching transistor amplifier, but the model mentioned there is thermionic in the later stages.
