I use my 1950s KB FB10 in the kitchen on a daily basis, plus we have several 1930s - 1950s synchronous electric clocks that (nearly) always show the correct time.

Probably not in the true spirit of the thread but I still use my Panasonic cf-27 laptop dating from 1998 ish to browse this forum and type letters and email. It is still just about up to basic tasks adequately using Linux with various applications like older versions of Firefox and LibreOffice. I like the clunky keyboard which feels more like a mechanical typewriter and if I keep the screen slightly dimmed still get anything upto 3+ hours battery life. I know considerably older computing equipment is around and working but I don't think I'd like to use anything much slower for everyday work.

All but two of the following are in daily use but those are used regularly nonetheless.

1900s - Edwardian terraced house.

1910s - Hughes Family (Salter) kitchen scales.

1920s - Drummond M-Type motorised lathe.

1930s - Deco standard lamp.

1940s - Aerograph air compressor.

1950s - Metamec mains driven kitchen wall clock.

1960s - Farnell L30 bench supply.

1970s - Grundig Elite Boy 600 transistor radio.

1980s - Swan automatic stainless kettle.

1990s - Henry vacuum cleaner.

2000s - Mini Cooper.

2010s - Sony Bravia LCD television.

There are quite a few more items that I could list for the mid 20th century decades but life is short and I’m too busy maintaining them all.

Listening to 7MHz CW and SSB on two old Eddystone receivers :
Valved - 680X (1957) fitted with a pentode product detector
Solid State - 1830 (1971)

The 680 always sounds "better" than the 1830, regardless of the loudspeaker. The 680 has a class B valved push-pull output, and the 1830 has a conventional complementary transistorised output of about 500mW or so.

The valved amp seems pretty tolerant of loudspeaker impedance swings, and I guess the transistor amp is much more fussy over actual load impedance. Perhaps this is why the audio crowd go for valved amps - rather than all the black magic audiophool stuff on another thread ?

1980's Sony music centre (for playing vinyl),
Panasonic radio cassette, mainly for the radio,
1940's Smiths mains alarm clock,
Pre-war battery tester, (callipers fitted with a MES socket for a torch bulb, simpler to use than a meter for checking AAs, and the brightness gives an excellent assessment of battery state),
various pre-war hand tools,
1940's and 1960's Anglepoise lamps,
some 1960's BA screws to repair a 1980's B&D hedge trimmer,
1970's Loktite thread seal.

Two pieces of vintage technology i still use are:
A WG shaver adapter to charge my toothbrush.
Roberts R9905 alarm radio to wake me up for college and for any other set time to wake up, the radio is about 12 years old.

Early 70's Sanyo flip clock radio, mid 80's land rover and I think an 80's Flymo to cut the grass.

Today I woke up around 06:00 to my Eddystone 840A bedside-radio playing "Smooth Radio" on medium-wave (it's on a timeswitch) and then while enjoying a coffee and bacon-roll post-Dog-walking Elevenses a commercial designed-for-iPod 'FM-retransmitter' hooked to my computer relayed the "vocal trance" stream of

https://www.di.fm/

to my Roberts R24 in the summer-house.

I think this is a nice blend of 'traditional' analog and modern digital.

Right now, I'm listening to 5.317MHz SSB hams on my Clansman PRC320.

For the benefit of doubt, this is the basis of this thread

Several posts also have ASIDES, most threads contain one or more, they always have and probably always will, but please make the main thrust of any post vintage electronics of some sort. Thank you.

… my son thinks all my electronic stuff is vintage, if not prediluvian, so where to start?

For forum purposes we regard items, falling within the scope of the forums, which are more than 20-25 years old as vintage. In addition all CRT TV's and tape recorders are regarded as vintage,

I have an idea what the word means, but I can't find it in my 2003 Webster's New World Dictionary.
