My very sincere condolences to Colin's family. I met him a few times, and he was always helpful, pleasant and very knowledgable. A real loss. RIP.

Very sorry to hear that we've lost one of our own. Even though I never had occasion to speak/write to Colin owing to my own recent discovery of this forum, I'd like to offer my condolences to his family & to thank Colin for sharing his passion. May he rest in peace.

Sad to hear of this, I also had contact with him last year with regards to the A40C article and he came across as a lovely man.
He'll be missed.

Yesterday the sad news about Colin prompted me to sit down and read his article on the Murphy A40, what an excellent piece of work to remember him by. Rest in Peace Colin.

Very sad to hear this, I visited Colin a couple of years ago, a very welcoming, pleasant and hospitable chap who seemed hale and hearty. Just goes to show how fate can be unkind. Deep condolences,

Colin
