Default Bush TR82B (has AF*** transistors) manual

Does anyone have the service data for the Bush TR82B transistor radio (AF transistor)?
All that I have is for the earlier model that has OC type transistors.
Many thanks
Mike

It's the Mk2 version: https://www.service-data.com/section...9/1/tr82d-mk-2

I don't think there's much difference between them, though I haven't checked. These circuits are very forgiving and you can drop almost anything in.

I think I only have the Mk I circuit. There are a few superficial differences but by and large you can use it for the Mk II without too much trouble.

If memory Serves and it rarely does! The main difference is that the earlier version had neutralisation of the IFTs.

Cheers

Thanks everyone for the replies. The trader service sheet 1459 covers the early model with OC types, but there are some dotted components on the under chassis view that are not on the actual later chassis.
The good news is that I managed to get some life from it, although most of the carbon resistors measured way out of their tolerance range (in some cases 25 to 30% plus). The on/off switch is part of the problem as it causes intermittent operation. Not easy to apply switch cleaner to as it is a very narrow slot.

Mike

What I meant about the dotted components on the under chassis view, was that these were drawn underneath the loud speaker, but when I removed the speaker there were only some of these components visible.
There was certainly a "mass of volume" to be heard from the speaker, that is before the switch began to "play up".

I thought all versions of the manual were available 'up top'?

Yes the Service data top right covers the MK2 with AF series transistors.

If you working on a lot of sets Pauls CD's represent excellent value rather than scouring the internet

As always though many of us are working on our hobby within budgets and often it seems like a large outlay.

It's a great idea for a present from family or friends though .

Cheers

Hi.
I have ordered a service manual from the U.K Vintage radio site.
The AF117 transistors have been replaced by the smaller AF127 types.
It is just a matter of time to get all the out of tolerance resistors replaced.
